All of the websites below were built using Weebly -- including this one! Using Weebly I am able to go from an idea to an up and running website at minimal cost in a matter of a few days. From there I am able to tweak the HTML and CSS code at will and can still add any flash components among other things as time permits. Please check out these sites, notice the progression of skill and design over time, and see what I am capable of in a matter of just a few days when necessary.

In late 2017 I realized that writing out my long form opinions was something I should finally just embrace after years of doing so sporadically and in closed gardens.
I realized this with a fully self-aware bias that only self-important people write blogs and such...
But I did it anyways. Because I wanted to. I guess that's life.
This clean simple sight is a compilation of my writings over the last decade, many times being timely, opinionated, political and divisive.
Any potential employers visiting this site: You would be hard pressed to find anyone I've ever worked with say that I bring any strong opinions to work or create a politically charged atmosphere. I express myself on my free time in appropriate venues.

Mafolie Hotel and Restaurant - Mafolie.com (2016)
In early 2016, I dusted off my web building skills to rebuild the website for my then employer, Mafolie Hotel & Restaurant. The old site was incredibly clunky on mobile devices, so it felt incredibly necessary. Since it's for a place I love, a place I have complete knowledge of, and a place that I have taken hundreds of pictures around over the last few years for our facebook page, the amount of content I had to work with made it a fun and easier task than it seemed at the outset.
A majority of the photography and copywriting was written and updated by me as I still maintain my role as webmaster.

Caribbean Gourmet Jerky - CaribbeanJerky.com (2015)
For six months in 2015, an old friend of mine came down to the islands and we had a goal of starting Caribbean Gourmet Jerky with his jerky making know-how. At that time I designed our packaging, business cards and I built our fully functional online retail site.
With the help of a few online sale blitz we had revenue of over $1000 before our experiment came to an end. At this time, the site is still up for posterity, and you can see a photo gallery displaying many of our designs, experiments, successes, failures and the fun we had.

Your Chauffeur - YourChauffeurGR.com (2013)
In spring 2013, I started a unique business in Grand Rapids called Your Chauffeur. After being awarded some seed money from StartGarden, I was off the ground running in the summer of 2013. One of the first things I did was build the website and create many animated gifs to fully and cleanly explain the unique idea that was Your Chauffeur (On-call Designated Drivers).

Industrial Firebrick, Inc. - IndFirebrick.com (2012)
Industrial Firebrick came to me knowing they needed to bring there website out of the 1990s but mostly to get an online retail operation off the ground. Along with a complete redesign, I personally took product pictures of almost all there stock products as well as custom jobs and facilities. Getting the entire redesign off the ground in less than a week they were very happy with the results at an affordable price.
They have since taken over managing the page back in 2012 and report that they receive dozens of visitors to their sales page daily.

MCAA Bracket - MCAAbracket.com (2011)
This website features many of the options I can offer while building a website. On the home page you will see a large PDF is presented as well as an option to download the file. A scrolling document viewer is utilized on the "MCAA Rules" page and some custom flash that I built was used to show off the "Player Bios". Then I've used some other fun options with a "MCAA Poll" and "MCAA Blog" among other common website tabs and pages.

Tall Dutch Lady Productions - TallDutchLady.com (2011)
TallDutchLady.com is a website featuring a photographers online portfolio, maps to her gallery showings, contact, her Youtube videos, and general bio. I am capable of displaying a plethora of pictures on a page in a number of ways; one obviously being what you will see on her "Photos" tab. This page also hosts an audio file that is set to "auto-play" when that particular page is opened. On the main page you will also see how easy it is to present people with the map and address of your business or event.

This website presents its visitors with a plethora of audio to easily listen to without leaving the website. DanoRadio.com presents visitors with more of a blog type of experience with it's left aligned menu and tabs that represent different talent, their pictures and voice work.
A coworker from my days in radio needed my assistance with this site so I built it with him over the course of a couple days. I have recently given it a facelift as of 2016 as you will see by clicking the link.

Bad Guy Movie - TheBadGuyMovie.com (2010)
This site is an example of a site I made in 2011 while collaborating with the director of "Bad Guy" for just a few hours and he took full control from there.
If you are confident with your skills on a computer and just wish to utilize my Weebly skills to get your site off the ground fast this is a prime example. I helped him create 5 of the original tabs and pages and since he has added and managed his own blog and added more movie trailers to his site.
